Dr Farshad Forouzandeh is a passionate clinician and an avid researcher. He has over 80 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and presentations on both translational and clinical aspects of medicine and cardiovascular disease. He has received numerous prestigious awards including American Heart Association (AHA) post-doctoral fellowship, British Columbia Innovation Council Award, Best Resident of the Year, and many top presentation and research competition awards at local, national, and international levels. His clinical and research activities are focused on advanced cardiovascular interventions and vascular biology. He has joined the elite cardiology program at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) as an assistant professor of medicine and an interventional cardiologist since July 2017.
Dr Forouzandeh finds nothing more enjoyable than providing the best possible care to his patients and help advancing the science. He is ready to collaborate toward these goals with other physicians and scientists. Also, he is passionate in teaching to the new generation of enthusiastic health-care providers and knows himself as a life-long committed student who tries to learn from every moment of the beautiful gift of life…
